How to: Move a group of controls on a report.
Solution:
In the Report Design view, select the desired controls, move the cursor to the side of one of the controls until the cursor changes to an open hand, then press and hold down the mouse button to move the group of controls. NOTE: The selected controls move as a single entity.
1) If the Database window is not active, activate the Database window.
2) Click the 'Reports' tab in the Database window.

3) Select the desired report from the list box. (The selected report is highlighted.)
4) Click 'Design'. (The selected report appears in the Design view and the floating Toolbox appears.)
5) Click to select each desired control while pressing and holding down SHIFT. (Handles appear around each selected control.)
NOTE: If the control has an attached label, select the control, not the label.

6) Position the cursor on the edge of one of the selected controls. (The cursor changes to an open hand.)
NOTE: Do not move the cursor over the handles where the cursor becomes a double headed arrow. This will change the size of the control, not move it.
7) Press and hold down the mouse button.
8) Drag the selected controls to the desired location.
9) Release the mouse button.
NOTE: The controls will move as a single entity.
